Medicare Supplemental Insurance Plan Benefit Comparison
Medigap insurance companies can only sell you a “modernized” Medigap policy identified as Plan A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, and N.
Each modernized Medigap policy must offer the same basic benefits, no matter which insurance company sells it. For example, Plan F offers the same benefits with all insurance companies, and Plan C offers the same benefits with all insurance companies.
Cost is usually the only difference between Medigap policies sold by different insurance companies.
Plan F is the most popular Medicare supplemental insurance plan.

The chart above is a brief summary of benefits.

Note: The Medigap policy covers Co-insurance only after you have paid the deductible (unless the Medigap policy also covers the deductible).
*After you meet your out-of-pocket yearly limit and your yearly Part B deductible, the Medigap plan pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the calendar year. Plan K Out-of-Pocket Limit is $4,620. 00. Plan L Out-of-Pocket Limit is $2,310. 00. Out-of-pocket limit is the maximum amount you would pay for Co-insurance and Co-payments in a calendar year.
